Carey International has invested £650,000 in acquiring ten BMW 530e Hybrid Electric vehicles to reduce the carbon emissions of its UK fleet by 65%, with an additional £2,000,000 in investments planned for the following year. The new fleet will exceed air quality requirements for chauffeur fleets in London and serve as an example for other Carey locations, while the company will also examine its facilities, business processes, and fleet management to reduce carbon output.
